Disconnected Fool

Words by Robb Spensley

You're busy
on your birthday working all night long
I miss you all the day and feeling lonesome without you hon
Your baking
helps me realize that I'm done
Running round for fun and staying out until the morning sun
Turn in early
and always wanting me to rub on you
So I expect it too and try to pick you up when you're blue
The funds
are lacking putting dampers on the weekend plans
But I'm the happiest man being next to you is my life plan

And I want you to stay despite the way you felt today
My love is deeper than you can see
I know that I depend on you and plan my life around the things you do
By myself I'm just a disconnected fool

Fool...

Endlessley watching movies picking on the foreign dudes
And I know when I'm rude that the maximum penalty ensues
The lovin
yeah well that's none of your business rude
But you're running four miles and ironing the work cloths nude
I know I'll be ok when I remember how you changed my life
And you showed me your home with rockies and the big sky
They're lying
if they say that I don't love you
And if our moments are few then I'll abandon things I don't wanna do

And I want you to stay despite the way you felt today
My love runs deeper than you can see
There is nothing for you to fear from the ones that come so near
They look around with blatant suggestive tones
So I smile back in turn with the skills a decent showman learns
But in my heart I hold you true
Knowing that I depend on you
plan my life around the things you do
And by myself I'm just a disconnected fool
